Orange + Raspberry + Strawberry Fruit Infused Water Bottle Recipe
It may be hard to believe, but Summer 16 is already half way over...hopefully you've made the most of it so far with friends, fun, and of course fruit infused water. If you haven't had a chance to try fruit infusion this summer, it's not too late! And we are here to help with innovative recipes like this orange, raspberry, strawberry infusion.
Now, I know what you may be thinking, is this really the best combination? And while we here at WATRBOTL may be a known authority on the subject of fruit water infusion, the answer, like that of beauty is that the taste is in the eye, or in this case, the mouth of the beholder.
In our opinion, the combination of the tart from the raspberry, mixed with the sweetness of the strawberry, and citrus of the orange is the perfect combination for the remaining days of summer. Besides, almost all of these fruits are in the prime of their season right now, so it really is the perfect time to try this recipe out with your fruit infuser water bottle!
If you are using the 16.9 Oz WATRBOTL, we recommend your starting ingredients be:
- 1-2 Strawberries
- 3 Raspberries
- 1 Orange
After gathering your whole ingredients from your local farmers market or grocery store, the next step is to prepare for infusion by:
- Slicing your strawberries into small slices or quarters
- Chopping your raspberries in half (or leaving them whole, your preference)
- Slicing your orange and using two-three whole slices (including the rind)
Next, remove the Snap Screen from your WATRBOTL, and place each of the chopped or sliced fruit chunks into the bottle. After the fruit is safely in the bottom of the bottle, the next step is to fill your bottle with water (and ice if you want chilled fruit water) and to click the Snap Screen back in place.
With this, you will have the perfect citrusy-sweet-tart fruit water for your morning commute, or the most refreshing and cold drink after a workout session. Enjoy!
